Legislative Alert!
Yesterday (Feb. 17th), the VSFA had its first Legislative Day at the General Assembly. VFSA’s goal was to be proactive and to build relationships with our state legislators.
We met with Sen. Donald McEachin, Sen. Bill DeSteph, Sen. Glen Sturtevant, Sen. Siobhan Dunnavant, Sen. Amada Chase, Del. Riley Ingram, Del. Brenda Pogge, Del. Paul Krizek, Del. Lee Ware, and Del. John O’Bannon. We explained VSFA’s mission and offered to be a resource regarding the vaping industry. The response was overwhelming!
As our lobbyist Steve Baril said, “VSFA has had an excellent Session and yesterday was an outstanding Legislative Day”.
